The Humber International Scholarships are now open. The entrance scholarship is for Graduate Certificates, Diplomas, and Advanced Diplomas who join Humber for the first semester in September, May, or January academic intakes. The Scholarship will provide CAD 2,000 in tuition fee reductions over their first two semesters.
The Scholarship will be awarded to students with a strong academic record (GPA of at least 85% and IELTS of 6.5+ (or the equivalent TOEFL or Duolingo) and a senior high-school grade in English. The Scholarship will award CAD 2000 to 10 new undergraduates and graduates each term/semester.
The Bachelor’s degree scholarships are open to all students who have completed their secondary schooling and are not transfer students. The number of scholarships is unlimited, and they are available to students who have not attended university or college nor studied under Humber’s EAP. Humber automatically awards high-achieving students with degree scholarships based on their academic achievements.

- The Humber admissions team will calculate the GPA based on the high school transcripts received during the assessment process. However, due to a limited number of scholarship awards, the GPA is the only factor that will determine the recipients. The International Entrance Scholarship is not a separate award but rather an automatic one that will be awarded to all eligible students after their first year of study.
- The total number of scholarships awarded will vary depending on the semester. Starting in September, 20 will go to students who are new, followed by 15 in January and then 5 in May. Each recipient of a scholarship must be from a new country for each starting semester. The award can only be given to one student per country in a single starting semester.
- After the 10th class day, the award will be applied to the MyHumber accounts of the students in two installments of CAD 1000. The two payments will apply to the second term. Scholarship recipients are still responsible for paying the entire amount of the first semester.
- Only successful applicants will be notified after Day 10 of the 1st semester.
